1) Recorded when Buddy Holly was just 13 years old before his voice changed
2/3/4)   Home recordings made with early partner Bob Montgomery
5/6/7) These tracks were recorded 1954-1955 and feature Sonny Curtis on fiddle
8) This track shows Buddy's increasing awareness of the SUN records sound and Elvis Presley in particular
9) A track in the bluegrass style of Flatt & Scruggs
10-13) These four tracks were recorded in response to a request from Decca records
14/15) Were recorded in Nashville with producer Owen Bradley
16-18) undubbed versions
19-25) More tracks recorded in Nashville and produced by Owen Bradley

CD 4:"Sittin' In"
1-31) are ones that Buddy Holly played guitar on. He produced tracks 26-28 & 30/31. Also, he wrote track 30. Although Maria Elena remembers him recording the song, the tape is believed to be lost.
32) This is the version (ca 1957) of the song that Buddy based his on.
